We landed in Palm Springs on November 8th, 2019 and are here until November 15th. We are using our RCI points for this stay. We love our RCI membership! We used our points to stay in Vegas for 3 weeks and now for a week in Palm Springs before our house-sitting assignment in Murphys, California.
Casitas Del Monte is an older, but lovely resort. The suites are HUGE (1600 square feet) that can sleep up to 9 people. It was much too big for just the two of us but all they have are 2-bedroom suites…great if you want to invite family to join you.

Our Review of the Casitas Del Monte for the travel/work lifestyle.
Overall, this resort was fabulous for the travel/work lifestyle. The most important necessity – wifi- was excellent and stable. The space was big enough that we didn’t feel we were tripping over each other. The resort was quiet and faces the canyon so was quit beautiful. Being close to the hike was great. It is also a close drive to some great restaurants, shopping (Steinmart was my favourite) and lovely places to walk.
Would we come back to Casitas Del Monte? Yes, if it was on our way to somewhere else. It is a great 1-week stay.
